Hi guys! Thank you for hanging in there for the long haul. It's 2007 and / will be officially returning soon with a brand new layout and an incredible array of content. I hit a few snags thanks to the new "tabs" technology in IE7 and other current browsers, so I've got to do some redesigning on the layout I crafted for you guys... but I know it will be worth it!
In the meantime I have started a brand new blog, and that is what you will see right here at / until the complete site launches. I've been very busy working as a freelancer--one of my current projects is an extensive buyers guide project for the world's first online organic florist, http://www.organicbouquet.com/. You'll be able to see some of that work when my online portfolio launches. I'll keep you posted on that.
I know, I know--that's not the kind of writing you want from me! :) The good news is that I've written a lot of poetry since we last connected like this, and in the first quarter of 2007 you will finally be able to get your hands on an actual hardcover book of my poems! I'll be releasing a whole series of poetry collections spanning the last five years of my life. The tentative titles are Unfiltered, Libra Lace, Heirloom Crimes, Wildfire, and The Goddess Applauds. I have squeezed my soul into every single volume of poetry, and I know that they will resonate with you and hopefully inspire you to create some of your own! Please stay tuned for news on these books--I am looking so forward to sharing them with you this year.
2008 will bring the long awaited release of Spiritual Visitations, edited by Heather Froeschl and available through Zumaya Publications (and hopefully on http://www.amazon.com/!). Four of my poems will be featured in it--including two that are dedicated to my grandmother and father who passed away in 2003 and 2004. This marks a huge milestone in my career, and I absolutely cannot wait for you to get your hands on a copy of the book. 2008 will be here before you know it!
That's all the news for now. Very soon I'll post a lengthy and detailed blog entry that explains where I've been for the last few years, why my website was missing in action, and exactly where these events have left me today. Despite the long vacation, I have never given up on my dreams or my work, and this year you'll finally get the chance to fully immerse yourself in my poetry, and hopefully following that, my music.
