The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran

I just stopped by my own blog for no reason at all, and I noticed two things. First, our counter has reached 6106 visitors! I'm very proud of that. We've had more visitors in the last month than we've ever had in any given month since the beginning of the site. This gives me so much faith that I am doing the right thing and that people are hearing me! I can't wait to share more poetry with you here later in the week...

The second thing I noticed was that The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran is the top featured book on our Amazon.com banner (or at least it was when I was typing this!). I have not read The Prophet yet, but I keep hearing about it and I think that's the next book I'll buy. I do have a thick volume called Treasured Writings of Kahlil Gibran that's really fantastic. You can also find out all about his life on his Wikipedia page. If you haven't indulged in his exquisite words, consider this your invitation. I love his poems. You've got to check them out!

I never finished my series of poems about my grandmother, so the final one will be coming up on Friday. It's a good one--a new one--called Adeline's Grace. I think you'll like it. Stay tuned...

To look great, be grateful...
