The Cloudy Sky Before Tonight's Storm

We had a beautiful Easter with family. Lots of laughter and good food. When we came home, we sat outside and played cards for a bit, and then the storm started to roll in. I snapped these photos of the sky as the lightning began and the rain started to fall, and it was time to head in before we got soaked or struck.

Even though we're pretty insulated from the weather in our basement, it was one of the loudest storms we'd ever heard. Thunder rumbled all night. I could feel that creative energy jolting down to local artists like myself who will transmute it into something equally electrifying. Goodnight and Happy Easter, everyone!
