I'm most creative...
When I'm on vacation. When my schedule is free, so are my heart and mind and all their ideas. I love to sit by the water or under some gorgeous tall trees and just write out everything that's in my soul at that moment in time.
If I were a color, I'd be...
My favorite is probably some shade of light blue but I don't know that it describes me. I'd probably be a deep, dark blend of burgundy and mahogany. Mysterious, time-worn, and probably in need of that soft and healing aquamarine to shed some light on things.
I often imagine myself...
Being interviewed on TV by Oprah or Arsenio about various creative projects that have taken off like wildfire. I've had this fantasy since the early '90s and I have it quite regularly! In real life, I'm guarded and private (I've been called a recluse!) so this would be a big step out of my shell, to say the least. I don't know if I'd actually want that vision to become real, but it inspires me and helps me to believe in myself.
I really wish I knew how to...
Play the keyboard and fully compose and produce songs all on my own. I keep attempting to teach myself and I always give up! It will happen eventually, mark my words. I'm the one who is likely to be late to the party but I always get there eventually! Haha :)
I'd love to spend a lazy Sunday...
Driving around my favorite neighborhoods, Starbucks in hand, listening to beautiful music. My partner and I do this every chance we get!
My secret talent is...
Predicting what will happen at the end of a book or movie. When they surprise me, I'm impressed! I think this is probably common among writers because we naturally construct the rest of the story in our minds without meaning to. I'd probably enjoy the movies more if I could turn that off!
